Ansmann Shock absorbers are manufactured to the highest standard, specifically designed to improve handling on racing buggies, trucks and cars. All these suspension units include an internal damper piston, allowing for a limited amount of shock fluid flow inside the shock, allowing for soft response to a bump. Experimenting with different weights of shock oil will give different performance results, either adding or reducing "jounce", the vehicles response to energy stored in the springs.  To upgrade the car's suspension, simply measure the distance between mounting screws on the vehicle, and use the nearest available shock length. Most suspension is mounted on a standard format, but if you have difficulty fitting a set of upgrade shocks, consider replacing the bottom mounts with the originals from the old shocks.
